29.04.2022. – Free expert guided tours of Castle Pazin and permanent exhibitions of both museums<\/p>

Schedule: April 29 at 1 p.m. and April 30 at 1 p.m.<\/p>

To participate in free professional guides, prior notice is required by e-mail: ivan.smoljan@muzej-pazin.hr<\/a>. Expert guides last between 45 and 60 minutes. They are conducted by the curators of these museums.<\/p>

Castle Pazin was first mentioned in sources in 983. For centuries it was the center of the Austrian part of Istra, ie the Pazin principality. Today it is known as the largest and best preserved medieval fortress in Istra.<\/p>

The Museum of the City of Pazin and the Ethnographic Museum of Istra as two museums operating today in Castle Pazin, on the occasion of the Night of the Fortress, offer two free professional tours of the Castle and the permanent exhibition and occasional exhibitions of both museums.<\/p>
