The project aims to strengthen cooperation among partners, develop new content, and enhance the visitor experience at cultural and historical sites. Its activities contribute to the preservation and valorization of fortified cultural heritage in a sustainable and inclusive way, connecting partners and stakeholders from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro.<\/p>\n<p>The renovation works at Brani\u010d Tower began in June 2025 and included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wall restoration and removal of drywall partitions<\/li>\n<li>Hand-applied plaster to achieve the most faithful impression of the original walls<\/li>\n<li>Renovation of floor surfaces and installation of parquet flooring<\/li>\n<li>Staircase restoration and replacement of joinery<\/li>\n<li>Installation of new electrical systems, lighting, fire alarm, and video surveillance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The total cost of the works amounts to \u20ac202,465.04, of which \u20ac147,900 was co-financed by the GIFTSnet \u2013 Network for Green and Inclusive Fortified Tourism Solutions (HR-BA-ME00047) project. The works were carried out by the construction company Gramont Gor\u0161i\u0107, with subcontractor Obrt Elektrocentar.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Brani\u010d Tower is now open to visitors and ready for the new exhibition to be prepared by the Museums of the City of Karlovac.<\/p>\n<p>The GIFTSnet project started on September 15, 2024, and will run until March 14, 2027.
