„Info-punkt“ na kojem su građanima dostupni letci i sve informacije „iz prve ruke“ o odvajanju otpada i „dječji kutić“ na temu zaštite okoliša i odvajanja otpada; oni nešto stariji mogu sudjelovati u „pitalici“ te kao nagradu dobiti višekratnu platnenu vrećicu.
17:00 – 22:30 – besplatan ulaz u izložbene prostore Starog grada, slobodan ulaz u Branič kulu sa vidikovcem
Razgledajte izložbu “U oku promatrača” višeg kustosa Luke Čorka i profesora mentora Marka Šegavića. Na izložbi su po prvi puta predstavljeni predmeti iz Entomološke zbirke Muzeja grada Karlovca koja je osnovana u 2018. godini, a broji više od 2000 predmeta. Također, prezentirano je više od sto vrsta kornjaša i danjih leptira popraćenih prekrasnim makrofotografijama visoke kvalitete i velikog povećanja koje je snimio Denis Stošić.
Branič-kula Starog grada Dubovca jedina je kula kvadratnog tlocrta i nadvisuje ostale tri kružne kule. U njoj se danas nalazi postav stalne izložbe Oko Kupe i Korane autora Laze Čučkovića i Željka Kovačića koja je koncipirana tako da prati različite funkcije koje su nekada imale kule, a ujedno je i kulisa koja na jednom mjestu predstavlja način života u utvrdama karlovačke županije od srednjeg do novog vijeka.
17:00 tematska turistička tura „Šumom do utvrde“
Tura je osmišljena tako da kroz šetnju povezuje kulturnu i povijesnu baštinu s naglaskom na ekološku osviještenost. Početak ture je ispred Nacionalnog svetišta svetog Josipa, gdje vodiči upoznaju sudionike ture s rutom. Dalje se kreće prema šumskom puteljku koji vodi prema Crkvi Blažene Djevice Marije Snježne, a završava na Starom gradu. Tura je osmišljena za obitelji s djecom (6-12 godina). Djeca pozorno slušaju jer tijekom šetnje ispunjavaju letke o zapažanjima okoline i okoliša, s naglaskom na prirodu, ekologiju, ekološku osviještenost dok prolaze šumskom stazom te s naglaskom na kulturno-povijesnu baštinu po dolasku do samog Starog grada gdje će u interakciji s vodičem postati mali arheolozi koje uče o arheološkim iskapanjima u tijeku.

Nakon priče na likovnoj radionici, sudionici će izrađivati zmaja pomoću kolaž papira.

Sudionici će na radionici obojati i izrezati zmajevo jaje i malog zmaja.
20:00 Vodstvo po arheološkom lokalitetu
Vodstvo po aktualnim arheološkim istraživanjima, Stari grad Dubovac i crkva Sv. Mihovila. Predstavljanje dosadašnjih rezultata istraživanja i pronađenih nalaze, među kojima se posebna zanimljivost ističu temelji crkvice sv. Mihovila sa grobnim inventarom. Posjetitelji će imati priliku saznati više o metodama istraživanja i značaju ovih otkrića za razumijevanje povijesti Karlovca i šire regije.

Prikupljene slikovnice Knjižnica će proslijediti potrebitima – dječjem odjelu Opće bolnice Karlovac u svrhu humanizacije hospitalizacije djece, dječjim vrtićima i dobrotvornim organizacijama.

Visit the exhibition “In the Eye of the Observer” by senior curator Luka Čorak and mentor professor Marko Šegavić. The exhibition presents for the first time objects from the Entomological Collection of the Karlovac City Museum, which was founded in 2018 and has more than 2,000 objects. It also presents more than a hundred species of beetles and butterflies accompanied by beautiful high-quality macrophotographs and high magnifications taken by Denis Stošić.
The defense tower of the Old Town of Dubovac is the only tower with a square floor plan and towers over the other three circular towers. Today, it houses the permanent exhibition Around the Kupa and Korana by Laza Čučković and Željko Kovačić, which is designed to follow the various functions that the towers once had, and is also a backdrop that represents in one place the way of life in the fortifications of Karlovac County from the Middle Ages to the modern era.

The tour is designed to connect cultural and historical heritage through a walk with an emphasis on environmental awareness. The tour begins in front of the National Shrine of St. Joseph, where the guides introduce the tour participants to the route. It then moves towards the forest path that leads to the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Snows, and ends in the Old Town. The tour is designed for families with children (6-12 years old). Children listen carefully because during the walk they fill out leaflets about their observations of the surroundings and the environment, with an emphasis on nature, ecology, environmental awareness as they pass through the forest path and with an emphasis on cultural and historical heritage upon arrival at the Old Town itself, where they will become little archaeologists in interaction with the guide and learn about the ongoing archaeological excavations.
