“Jeste li našli zlato?” – 10 pitanja (i 10 odgovora) o arheologiji – dr. sc. Miroslav Razum
Na Starom gradu Ozlju u tijeku su arheološka istraživanja kojima je cilj otkriti prošlost na prostoru ove jedinstvene tvrđave u Hrvatskoj. S obzirom da je arheologija je jedna od znanosti koja pobuđuje znatiželju kod većine ljudi, te se od strane posjetitelja često čuju različita zanimljiva pitanja na tu temu. No vođeni mišlju da ne postoje glupa pitanja, samo glupi odgovori, te sa svrhom edukacije i popularizacije arheologije, na ovom predavanju biti će dati odgovori na najzanimljivija pitanja kroz konkretne primjere sa Starog grada Ozlja.
Stari grad Ozalj u Drugom svjetskom ratu – mag. hist. et. educ. geo. Željko Juriša
Geografsko – politički te strateški položaj Starog grada Ozlja u razdoblju Drugog svjetskog rata bio je od iznimne važnosti za sve zaraćene vojske. Ratna događanja približila su se Ozlju u proljeće 1942.g. što je rezultiralo i zatvaranjem Zrinsko – Frankopanskog muzeja Družbe Braća Hrvatskog zmaja u Starom gradu iste godine. U jesen 1942. godine Stari grad zaposjedaju talijanski fašisti, a nakon kapitulacije Italije ostaje jedna domobranska satnija. Tijekom 1944. dolazi i ustaška bojna. Završetkom rata u svibnju 1945. godine u Stari grad ulaze partizanske jedinice čime završava rat na ovom prostoru. Cilj ovog predavanja je upoznati posjetitelje šireg ozaljskog prostora sa događajima i aktivnostima koje su se događale u Starom gradu Ozlju u razdoblju od 1941. do 1945.g., a ujedno i sa posljedicama ratnih razaranja koje je utvrda imala u navedenom periodu.

“Did you find the gold?” – 10 questions (and 10 answers) about archaeology – dr. sc. Miroslav Razum
Archaeological research is underway in the Old Town of Ozalj, the aim of which is to discover the past in the area of this unique fortress in Croatia. Considering that archaeology is one of the sciences that arouse the curiosity of most people, visitors often asks various interesting questions on the subject. But guided by the idea that there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers, and with the purpose of education and popularization of archaeology, this lecture will provide answers to the most interesting questions through specific examples from the Old Town of Ozalj.
The Old town of Ozalj in the Second World War – mag. hist. etc. educ. geo. Željko Juriša
The geographical – political and strategic position of the Old Town of Ozalj in the period of the Second World War was of exceptional importance for all armies. War events came closer to Ozalj in the spring of 1942. That resulted in the closing of the Zrinsko-Frankopa Museum of the Brothers of the Croatian Dragon in the Old Town in the same year. In the fall of 1942 the Old Town was occupied by the Italian fascists, and after the capitulation of Italy, one Home Guard company remained. During 1944, the battalion of “ustaša” also arrived. At the end of the war in May 1945, partisan units entered the Old Town, ending the war in this area. The aim of this lecture is to acquaint the visitors of the wider Ozalj area with the events and activities that took place in the Old Town of Ozalj in the period from 1941 to 1945, and at the same time with the consequences of the war destruction that the fort had in that period.
