Plan ovogodišnje manifestacije povezuje kulturno naslijeđe sa ekološkom odgovornošću, koristeći događaj kao platformu za podizanje svijesti o zelenom i održivom razvoju. Cilj je edukovati posjetioce – učenike o održivom turizmu i praksama koje doprinose očuvanju i zaštiti kulturne baštine, podstičući ih na aktivno učešće u očuvanju prirodnog i kulturnog bogatstva.
Na tvrđavi Forte Mare ćemo imati predavače koji će u toku dana edukovati posjetioce o istoriji, kako tvrđave, tako i samog grada, kao i o značaju kulturne baštine i podizanju svijesti o potrebi njenog očuvanja. Pored predavanja o heraldici (grbovima) i veksilologiji (zastavama), akcentovaće se i međusobni odnos prirode i ljudske civilizacije kroz istoriju, tj zaštiti okoliša kroz kulturno naslijeđe kao ključni element održivog razvoja.
Izlagači ručnih radova, od kovača pa sve do pravljenja sapuna će biti uključeni u manifestaciju, kao lokalna zajednica sa kojom, na ovaj način jačamo društvenu koheziju u postizanju održivosti.
Vitezovi će upotpuniti događaj svojim prisustvom i pričom o važnim istorijskim događajima.
Gosti iz Slovenije će u jutarnjim časovima prezentovati svoj tradicionalni praznik Situl koji povezuje istoriju Herceg Novog i njihovu istoriju preko trgovine solju. Izvest će kombinaciju igara i radionica koje prikazuju njihovu kulturnu baštinu i prilagoditi je školskom uzrastu, dok će preko noći biti organizovan mirni, akustični koncert na otvorenom prostoru tvrđave, koristeći isključivo ručno rađenje instrumente, kako bi naglasili povezanost s životnom sredinom.
Zbog svega gore navedenog, manifestacija Noć tvrđava stavlja poseban akcenat na povezivanje kulturne baštine i prirode koja je okružuje i čuva i naglašava važnost očuvanja tvrđave Forte Mare kao simbola identiteta grada Herceg Novog.

The plan for this year's Night of Fortresses combines cultural heritage with environmental responsibility, using the event as a platform to raise awareness of green and sustainable development. The goal is to educate visitors – students about sustainable tourism and practices that contribute to the preservation and protection of cultural heritage, encouraging them to actively participate in the preservation of natural and cultural wealth.
At the Forte Mare Fortress, lecturers will educate visitors about the history of the fortress and the city itself, as well as the importance of cultural heritage and raising awareness of the need to preserve it. In addition to lectures on heraldry (coats of arms) and vexillology (flags), the mutual relationship between nature and human civilization throughout history will be emphasized, ie environmental protection through cultural heritage as a key element of sustainable development.
Exhibitors of handicrafts, from blacksmiths to soap making, will be included in the event, as a local community with which, in this way, we strengthen social cohesion in achieving sustainability.
The knights will complete the event with their presence and will talk about historical most important events.
In the morning, guests from Slovenia will present their traditional holiday Situl, which connects the history of Herceg Novi and their history through the salt trade. They will perform a combination of games and workshops that shows their cultural heritage and will adapt it to school age, while overnight a quiet, acoustic concert will be organized in the open area of the fortress, using exclusively handmade instruments, to emphasize the connection with the environment.
Due to all of the above, the Night of Fortresses event puts a special emphasis on connecting cultural heritage and the nature that surrounds and preserves it, and emphasizes the importance of preserving the Forte Mare Fortress as a symbol of the identity of the city of Herceg Novi.
