Javna ustanova Priroda Šibensko-kninske županije po četvrti put s veseljem se pridružuje manifestaciji Noć tvrđava koju ove godine obilježavamo i 9. i 10. svibnja.
Iznimno nas veseli naš doprinos podizanju svijesti javnosti i posjetitelja o konceptima zelenog i održivog posjećivanja i razvoja u zaštićenim područjima. Kroz naše kulturne događaje, korak po korak moguće je senzibilizirati javnost o ekološkim pitanjima i motivirati ih na aktivno sudjelovanje u zaštiti okoliša.
Ove godine priređujemo dva glazbena događanja. Dvije glazbene škole iz dva hrvatska grada na ušću rijeka Krke i Cetine, Šibenika i Omiša, priredit će nam dvije glazbene poslastice – generalnu probu i koncert učenika Glazbene škole ,,Ivan Lukačić“ iz Šibenika i Osnovne glazbene škole ,,Lovro pl. Matačić“ iz Omiša – Orkestra u gostima.
Sva događanja će se održati u kanalu sv. Ante, koji je u potpunosti zaštićeno područje – svojim velikim dijelom zaštićen je zakonom RH kao Značajni krajobrazi Kanal-Luka u Šibeniku, dio je Europske ekološke mreže Natura 2000 Ušće Krke te buffer zona tvrđave sv. Nikole, spomenika pod svjetskom zaštitom UNESCO-a. Idealan je ovo spoj kulturne i prirodne baštine na mjestu ušća rijeke Krke, na mjestu dodira rijeke i mora.
09. svibnja 2025. na šetnici u kanalu sv. Ante, ispred Posjetiteljskog centra održat će se generalna proba dviju glazbenih škola. U okružju kanala sv. Ante s prekrasnim pogledom na renesansnu ljepoticu Tvrđavu sv. Nikole, upisanu na UNESCO-ov Popis svjetske baštine, iskusite s nama jedinstveni doživljaj spoja prirodne i kulturne baštine, a sve uz čarobne zvukove I. stavka Vivaldijevog ,,Proljeća“ .
Šetnica je dostupna i besplatna za sve posjetitelje i sudionike, kao i cjelodnevni posjet i stručno vodstvo postavom ,,Dodir rijeke i mora“ u Posjetiteljskom centru ,,Kanal sv. Ante“. Dobrodošli!
10. svibnja u 13:00 sati organiziran je zajednički koncert zatvorenog tipa na Tvrđavi sv. Nikole i to isključivo za sudionike koncerta glazbenih škola i njihove uzvanike.

The Public Institution Nature of the Šibenik-Knin County is pleased to join the Night of Fortresses event for the 4th time, which we are celebrating this year on May 9th and 10th.
We are extremely pleased with our contribution to raising awareness among the public and visitors about the concepts of green and sustainable visiting and development in protected areas. Through our cultural events, step by step it is possible to sensitize the public about environmental issues and motivate them to actively participate in environmental protection.
This year we are organizing two musical events. Two music schools from two Croatian cities, Šibenik and Omiš, at the mouths of two rivers – Krka and Cetina, will collaborate to organize two musical treats for us – a dress rehearsal and a concert by students of the „Ivan Lukačić“ Music School from Šibenik and the „Lovro pl. Matačić“ Elementary Music School from Omiš – the Guest Orchestra.
All events will take place in the St Anthony Channel, which is a completely protected area – a large part of it is protected by the law of the Republic of Croatia as the Significant Landscape Channel-Port in Šibenik, the part of the European Ecological Network Natura 2000 of the Krka Estuary and the buffer zone of the St Nicholas’ Fortress, the World Heritage monument. This is an ideal combination of cultural and natural heritage at the mouth of the Krka River, where the river meets the sea.
On May 9, 2025, on the promenade in the St Anthony’s Channel, in front of the Visitor Center, a dress rehearsal of two music schools will be held. In the surroundings of the St Anthony’s Channel, with a beautiful view of the Renaissance beauty of the St Nicholas’ Fortress, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, experience with us a unique combination of natural and cultural heritage, all accompanied by the magical sounds of the first movement of Vivaldi’s „Spring“.
The promenade is available and free of charge for all visitors and participants, as well as a full-day visit and expert guidance of the installation „Where the River Meets the Sea“ at the Visitor Center „St Anthony’s Channel“. Welcome!
On May 10 at 1:00 p.m., a joint closed-type concert is organized at the St’Nicholas Fortress, exclusively for participants in the concert of music schools and their guests.
