Concludi la serata con una passeggiata guidata lungo le antiche mura cittadine di Vieste, dove storia, paesaggio e sostenibilità si incontrano. Questo itinerario offre una visione profonda delle difese medievali della città, promuovendo al contempo un approccio rispettoso al patrimonio.
Durante la passeggiata, i partecipanti potranno:
-Ripercorrere i passi delle antiche sentinelle – Conoscere la disposizione strategica delle mura, progettate per proteggere la città e per integrarsi con il territorio senza alterarne l’equilibrio naturale.
-Scoprire l’urbanistica sostenibile del passato – Le mura raccontano di una pianificazione attenta, in grado di coniugare sicurezza e rispetto dell’ambiente, offrendo spunti ancora validi oggi.
-Ammirare i panorami con uno sguardo consapevole – Dalle mura si aprono viste spettacolari sul mare e sulle colline, occasione per riflettere sull’importanza di preservare i paesaggi culturali e naturali.
-Conoscere le tradizioni viventi di Vieste – L’area sarà anche il percorso della processione religiosa in onore di Santa Maria di Merino, mostrando come il patrimonio culturale continui a vivere nella comunità.

Conclude the evening with a guided walk along Vieste’s medieval city walls, where history, nature, and sustainability meet. This scenic route offers a deeper understanding of Vieste’s coastal defenses while promoting environmentally respectful engagement with cultural landscapes.
During the walk, participants will:
-Trace the steps of ancient sentinels – Learn about the walls’ strategic layout, designed to protect Vieste from seaborne attacks, and their role in early urban planning that respected both the land’s contours and natural resources.
-Explore sustainable urban heritage – Understand how city walls and watchpoints were integrated into the urban fabric in ways that minimized environmental disruption, offering models for sustainable design even today.
-Enjoy panoramic views responsibly – As participants admire the breathtaking views from the sea to the hills, the tour will foster awareness of the need to preserve both cultural and natural panoramas through low-impact tourism.
