Omiš, grad otvoren moru i rijeci, obilježen je višestoljetnom pomorskom poviješću i s druge strane, suvremenim turističkim uzletom. Istraživanje i dokumentiranje omiške podvodne baštine projekt je uvjetovan brojnim izazovima u čijem je žarištu sprega održivog turizma i zaštite te prezentacije kulturne baštine. Što nam otkriva omiško podmorje i na koji način njegovu slojevitost sačuvati u osvitu današnjice?

19:00 Underwater Heritage of Omiš, a lecture by Tea Katunarić Kirjakov, underwater archeologist, expert associate to the Omiš City Museum on the Omiš underwater research project
Omiš, a city open to the sea and the river, is marked, on the one hand, by centuries of maritime history and, on the other, by a modern tourism boom. The research into and documentation of the underwater heritage of the City of Omiš is a project defined by numerous challenges, attempting to combine sustainable tourism with the protection and presentation of cultural heritage. What does the Omiš seabed reveal to us and how can its rich heritage be preserved in the face of the world today?
