In 2021, Fortress of Culture began with the announcement of the first public procurement conducted entirely within the institution. By training and educating its employees, the Fortress of Culture currently has 2 certified employees in its staff for conducting the public procurement procedure, of which there will be a total of 6 this year.
The subject of this procedure was the procurement of production equipment for St. Michael’s Fortress and a digital kiosk, with total estimated value of HRK 710.180,61. The procurement procedure is divided into two groups, and includes the delivery of goods and basic education at the delivery location.
Procurement is carried out within the project FORTITUDE – Historical Fortresses Intensifying cross-border Tourism Development (HR-BA-ME355) whose implementation is co-financed by the Interreg IPA Cross border cooperation program HR-BA-ME 2014-2020 (2nd Call for Proposals) in the amount of 85% of the value.
The project holder is the Public Institution Fortress of Culture Šibenik, and the partners are City of Banja Luka, Municipality of Herceg Novi, City of Karlovac and Municipality of Bar. The project is implemented from March 1st 2020, lasts for 24 months and its total value is EUR 1.618.438,72.
