Zenica, Castle Vranduk,
29.04.2022. 10.00h – 21.00h: Opening of a medieval market town
The program of the ceremonial opening of the medieval market in the enclosure of the Castle Vranduk includes an all-day presentation for visitors of the model of the functioning of trade in the Middle Ages, and a solemn act for guests. Accompanying programs are designed in the spirit of the Middle Ages, tasting medieval cuisine, interpreting medieval music, animating medieval games, archery, horseshoe throwing, knightly duel, and photography as a knight and court lady, or imprisoned on a pillar of shame.
It is a series of spontaneous activities positioned in the area of the market place, and on the stretch from the shooting range to the medieval kitchen, which we located in the Small Tower of the fortress. Of course, all visitors have at their disposal other facilities of the Vranduk Fortress, mostly positioned in the Great Tower, in order to experience the atmosphere of the Middle Ages as much as possible.
