U sklopu petog izdanja međunarodne manifestacije Noć tvrđava postaje zelena – „Night of Fortresess Goes Green“ koja će se 8. i 9.maja istovremeno realizovati u brojnim evropskim zemljama, kao zvanični dio programa ove manifestacije realizovaćemo višednevni program na tvrđavi koji će obuhvatiti:
o Sedmodnevna volonterska ekološka akcija „Drevni Onogošt čistim, na budućnost tvrđave mislim“;
o Javni čas na otvorenom „Zelena tvrđava, zelena muzika“;
U sedmodnevnoj volonterskoj ekološkoj akciji „Drevni Onogošt čistim, na budućnost tvrđave mislim“ učešće će uzeti najmanje 50 učenika i 50 učenica JPU „Dragan Kovačević“ vaspitne ustanove Centralni vrtić, zaposleni JU Muzeji i Galerije, zaposleni Hipotekarne Banke poslovnice Nikšić, uz angažovanje mehanizacije i podršku zaposlenih JP „Komunalno Nikšić“ i Službe zelenila. Tokom akcije predviđeno je:
o raskrčavanje i uklanjanje sezonskog rastinja i trnja;
o uređivanje zelenih površina i šetnih staza na Bedemu;
o sadnja sezonskog bilja;
Na ovaj način poboljšaćemo postojeći prostor na tvrđavi i njenoj okolini u funkcionalnom i estetskom smislu, omogućavajući turistima i posjetiocima tvrđave obilazak uređenim šetnim stazama okolo zidina tvrđave, uživanje u pogledu sa vrha tvrđave na prepoznatljive simbole grada.
Za učenike i učenice biće održan javni čas „Zelena tvrđava, zelena muzika“. Ovaj dio projekta namjenski posvećujemo najmlađoj učeničkoj populaciji, koja osim što u knjigama uči o kulturnim spomenicima, takođe treba i da ih obiđe i o njima sluša tokom izletničkih edukativnih tura i lično se uvjeri u njihovu vrijednost i značaj.

As part of the fifth edition of the international event “Night of Fortressess Goes Green”, which will be held simultaneously in numerous European countries on May 8th and 9th, as an official part of the event’s program, we will implement a multi-day program at the fortress that will include:
o Seven-day volunteer environmental action “I clean the ancient Onogošt, I think about the future of the fortress”;
o Public open-air class “Green fortress, green music”;
The seven-day volunteer ecological campaign “I clean the ancient Onogošt, I think about the future of the fortress” will involve at least 50 male and 50 female students of the Public Institution “Dragan Kovačević” of the Central Kindergarten, employees of the Public Institution Museums and Galleries, employees of the Nikšić branch of the Mortgage Bank, with the engagement of machinery and support from employees of the Public Institution “Komunalno Nikšić” and the Greenery Service. The campaign includes:
o clearing and removing seasonal vegetation and thorns;
o landscaping of green areas and walking paths on the Ramparts;
o planting seasonal plants;
In this way, we will improve the existing space on the fortress and its surroundings in a functional and aesthetic sense, enabling tourists and visitors to the fortress to tour the arranged walking paths around the fortress walls, enjoying the view from the top of the fortress on the recognizable symbols of the city.
A public class “Green Fortress, Green Music” will be held for students. We are specifically dedicating this part of the project to the youngest student population, who, in addition to learning about cultural monuments in books, should also visit them and hear about them during educational excursions and personally see their value and significance.
