30.04.2022. Opening of the Fortress of St. Nicholas to visit in the 2022 season, Open House

April 30, 2022. – The Public Institution Nature of Šibenik-Knin County joins the Fortress Night event with the Open Day for Citizens, free tickets on April 30, 2022 for both guided tours: at 10:00 and at 12:30.

We are preparing a musical surprise for our visitors on the first tour; after entering the fortress hall and the start of the guided tour, visitors descend into the torion (semicircular very acoustic part of the fortress basement) where they will be greeted by two students of the Ivan Lukačić Music School who will play a theme from “Game of Thrones” on violin. This is followed by the continuation of the story-leading, and we would come to the so-called sanitary facilities, which in itself is impressive with an unsurpassed visual and acoustic experience, and visitors would be greeted there by a chamber ensemble – three music school students who would play another striking composition of the music school’s choice.

We have also announced the visit of foreign bloggers who should present this exceptional destination under the protection of UNESCO in the best light.
