Pridružite nam se na 08. i 09. svibnja na Tvrđavi sv. Nikole i u Posjetiteljskom centru „Kanal sv. Ante“, te na šetnici kanala i sudjelujte u programu manifestacije Night of Fortresses Goes Green 2026.!
Program Zelene noći tvrđava doprinosi podizanju svijesti javnosti i posjetitelja o konceptima zelenog i održivog posjećivanja baštine i razvoja u zaštićenim područjima, nastojeći pritom senzibilizirati javnost o ekološkim pitanjima i motivirati ih na aktivno sudjelovanje u zaštiti okoliša.
Ovogodišnji program pod nazivom „Tvrđave ruše zidove“, koji se provodi u sklopu manifestacije Night of Fortresses Goes Green 2026., donosi inkluzivne tematske ture na sve šibenske tvrđave, uključujući i UNESCO-ov biser Tvrđavu sv. Nikole, kroz koje posjetitelji, uz vodstvo predstavnika udruga i stručnih interpretatora, upoznaju kulturnu baštinu iz perspektive osoba s različitim vrstama poteškoća. Program omogućuje zajedničko sudjelovanje članova udruga i građana te potiče otvorenost, pristupačnost i dijalog u prostoru kulturne baštine.
Dio programskih događanja će se održati u kanalu sv. Ante, koji je u potpunosti zaštićeno područje – svojim velikim dijelom zaštićen je zakonom RH kao Značajni krajobraz Kanal-Luka u Šibeniku, dio je Europske ekološke mreže Natura 2000 Ušće Krke te buffer zona Tvrđave sv. Nikole, spomenika pod svjetskom zaštitom UNESCO-a. Idealan je ovo spoj kulturne i prirodne baštine na mjestu ušća rijeke Krke, na mjestu dodira rijeke i mora.

Join us on 8 and 9 May at St Nicholas’ Fortress and the St Anthony’s Channel Visitor Center, as well as along the channel promenade, and take part in the Night of Fortresses Goes Green 2026 programme!
The programme contributes to raising public and visitor awareness of green and sustainable heritage visitation and development in protected areas, while aiming to sensitise the public to environmental issues and motivate active participation in environmental protection.
This year’s programme, titled “Fortresses Break Down Barriers”, implemented as part of the Night of Fortresses Goes Green 2026 event, brings inclusive thematic tours to all Šibenik fortresses, including the UNESCO gem St Nicholas’ Fortress. Through these tours, guided by representatives of associations and professional interpreters, visitors will experience cultural heritage from the perspective of persons with various types of disabilities. The programme enables joint participation of association members and citizens, encouraging openness, accessibility, and dialogue within cultural heritage spaces.
Part of the programme will take place in the St Anthony’s Channel, a fully protected area – largely protected under Croatian law as the Significant Landscape Channel-Port (Kanal–Luka) in Šibenik, part of the European ecological network Natura 2000 (Krka Estuary), and the buffer zone of St Nicholas’ Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It represents an ideal blend of cultural and natural heritage at the mouth of the Krka River, where the river meets the sea.
