Opis programa – Noć tvrđava 2026. u Jajcu
Manifestacija Noć tvrđava u Jajcu bit će realizirana u sklopu već prepoznatljivog kulturno-povijesnog i turističkog događaja Dani srednjovjekovlja u Jajce, koji već nekoliko godina oživljava bogatu povijest kraljevskog grada kroz autentične prikaze srednjovjekovnog života, viteške igre, kostimirane povorke, stare zanate i kulturno-umjetnički program.
Grad Jajce, poznat po svojoj veličanstvenoj tvrđavi i jedinstvenom spoju prirodnih i kulturnih vrijednosti, mjesto je za promišljanje odnosa između kulturnog naslijeđa i prirodnog okruženja. Upravo zato program Noć tvrđava stavlja poseban naglas na povezivanje povijesne baštine i prirode koja je okružuje i čuva.
Likovni natječaj za djecu i mlade
Glavni dio programa Noći tvrđava bit će likovni natječaj na dvije tematske cjeline:
1.“Kulturno naslijeđe kao dio prirodnog ekosustava”
2.“Tvrđave kao čuvari prirode kroz povijest i danas”
Djeci će biti omogućeno slobodno kreativno izražavanje na otvorenom prostoru, gdje će moći slikati motive jajačke tvrđave, prirodnih jezera, rijeka i zelenih krajolika koji okružuju grad. Kroz umjetnički rad poticat će se svijest o važnosti očuvanja kulturne baštine u skladu s prirodom, te razumijevanje kako su tvrđave kroz povijest bile ne samo obrambeni objekti, već i simboli suživota čovjeka i okoliša.
Dani srednjovjekovlja u Jajcu predstavljaju tradicionalnu manifestaciju koja kroz bogat program oživljava duh srednjeg vijeka i podsjeća na značaj Jajca kao nekadašnjeg kraljevskog sjedišta. Posjetitelji imaju priliku doživjeti rekonstrukcije povijesnih događaja, viteške turnire i nastupe povijesnih postrojbi, čime se njeguje i promovira kulturno-povijesna baština grada.
Uključivanjem programa Noć tvrđava u ovu manifestaciju dodatno se naglašava važnost očuvanja tvrđave kao simbola identiteta, ali i kao dijela šireg prirodnog i kulturnog ekosustava.

Program description – Fortress Night 2026 in Jajce
The Night of the Fortresses in Jajce event will be realized as part of the already recognizable cultural-historical and tourist event Days of the Middle Ages in Jajce, which has been reviving the rich history of the royal city for several years through authentic depictions of medieval life, knightly games, costume processions, old crafts and cultural and artistic program.
The town of Jajce, known for its magnificent fortress and unique combination of natural and cultural values, is a place to reflect on the relationship between cultural heritage and the natural environment. This is precisely why the Night of Fortresses program puts a special emphasis on connecting historical heritage and the nature that surrounds and preserves it.
Art competition for children and young people
The main part of the Fortress Nights program will be an art competition on two thematic units:
1.“Cultural heritage as part of the natural ecosystem”
2.“Fortresses as guardians of nature throughout history and today”
Children will be allowed to express themselves freely in the open space, where they will be able to paint motifs of the Jajačka fortress, natural lakes, rivers and green landscapes that surround the city. Through artistic work, awareness of the importance of preserving cultural heritage in harmony with nature will be encouraged, and an understanding of how throughout history fortresses have been not only defensive objects, but also symbols of human and environmental coexistence.
The days of the Middle Ages in Jajce represent a traditional event that, through a rich program, revives the spirit of the Middle Ages and reminds of the importance of Jajce as a former royal seat. Visitors have the opportunity to experience reconstructions of historical events, knightly tournaments and performances of historical units, which nurtures and promotes the cultural and historical heritage of the city.
The inclusion of the Fortress Night program in this event further emphasizes the importance of preserving the fortress as a symbol of identity, but also as part of the wider natural and cultural ecosystem.
