Mimika Orchestra is an avant-garde and conceptual world-jazz ensemble formed in 2010 in London.
It was founded by Croatian multi-instrumentalist and composer Mak Murtić. The orchestra’s compositions are intertwined with traditional and contemporary jazz, progressive rock, folklore, contemporary classics and live electronics. Vocals, brass and woodwinds, a large rhythm section and live electronics are the hallmarks of this band.
The concert is realized within the Festival JAM 22 organized by the Jazz Art Association during April in Podgorica.
