U petak 10. svibnja posjetitelji će imati priliku pogledati kratki film “Šparoge” mladih istarskih autora. Humoristični je to film s dubokom porukom čija se radnja odvija na relaciji Savičenta – Smoljanci, među kojima u stvarnosti i inače dugo postoji rivalitet.
Zaplet se događa kad klagenfurtski gastronom u lokalnim novinama objavi da su savičentske šparoge najbolje u Istri, iako ih je načelnik Savičente (koji mu ih je servirao) ustvari ubrao u Smoljancima. Kroz naizgled bezazleni problem, film izražava suštinsku ljubav prema izgubljenoj Istri, te probleme koji su uzrokovani kapitalizmom koji oduzima tu Istru od lokalnih mještana.
Film će se prikazivati u kaštelu Morosini-Grimani s početkom u 19:00h, a nakon toga uslijedit će kratki razgovor s mladim redateljima filma.
Osim filma, posjetitelji će moći pogledati izložbu “Kampanjola in the morning” u kojoj se prikazuje uvijek isti kadar u isto vrijeme kroz period od godinu dana s popratnim citatima samog autora.

On Friday, 10th of May, visitors will have the opportunity to watch the short film “Asparagus” by young Istrian authors. It is a humorous film with a deep message. The plot takes place in the relationship between Savičenta and Smoljanci, between whom in reality there has been a rivalry for a long time.
The plot happens when a gastronome from Klagenfurt announces in the local newspaper that Savičenta’s asparagus are the best in Istria, even though the mayor of Savičenta (who served them to him) actually picked them in Smoljanci. Through a seemingly innocuous problem, the film expresses an essential love for lost Istria, and the problems caused by capitalism, which takes that Istria away from the local residents.
The film will be screened in the Morosini-Grimani castle starting at 7:00 p.m., followed by a short discussion with the film’s young directors afterwards.
In addition to the film, visitors will be able to see the exhibition “Kampanjola in the morning”, which always shows the same shot at the same time over a period of one year with accompanying quotes from the author himself.
